Responsible Minerals Policy
We commit to conducting due diligence and establishing responsible mineral supply chains.
Conflict minerals originate from conflict mining areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including niobium tantalite, cassiterite, wolframite and gold. These minerals are refined into tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), gold (Au) (referred to as 3TG), which are used in electronics and other products, respectively. Some minerals, used in trading arms to back armed conflicts against the government, ravage local civilians, and further to cause international disputes, have become the main source of funds for the armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Africa. Flexium formulates a Responsible Minerals Policy to manage the sources of the minerals, including tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), gold (Au), cobalt (Co), and Mica. We do not ban all minerals from the DRC or adjoining countries. All minerals only sourcing from qualified smelters in compliance with the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) and customer requirements. We guarantee that we’ll never source minerals that directly or indirectly benefit the armed groups violating serious human rights in the areas.
Flexium commits to conducting due diligence and establishing a risk management mechanism consistent with the guidelines of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to implement responsible procurement strategies.
Sustainability Report (formerly known as CSR Report)
Flexium voluntarily compiled our first Corporate Social Responsibility Report in 2017, after which we completed the second report and first issued 2017 CSR Report to the public in 2018. In 2021, we officially renamed the report as the “Sustainability Report.” Entering its eight years, in 2024, we compile our 2023 ESG Report based on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards, and GRI Universal Standards 2021. Flexium aspires to inform stakeholders of climate change-related risks, response strategies, and financial as well aa non-financial information related to ESG and demonstrates our determination to pursue sustainable business.
We aim to constantly reveal the information of our efforts in business performance, environment protection and contribution to community involvements as well as initiate credible dialogue with stakeholders in the future.
